EVG provides the opportunity to hold customer training courses at our factory in Raaba, Austria, run by highly qualified technicians. The courses are structured in terms of machine-specific features, with the aim of enabling staff to operate and maintain the machinery they have purchased as efficiently as possible.

Safety engineering
General introduction to safety instructions applicable for operating EVG production lines according to the instruction manual. Explanation of safety devices for individual machine components. Review of the factory safety layout.
General information on wire and mesh productionThe theory behind the individual production sequences and manufacturing processes.
MechanicsExplanation of individual machine components and their functions on the basis of the corresponding operating manuals and directly at machine components installed at the EVG factory. Information on the structure and operation of the drive units.
HydraulicsCourse focusing on the fundamental principles of hydraulic systems and explanation of how to use the hydraulic diagram and the individual hydraulic components. Practical exercises in the relevant technical department.
ElectricsPresentation of the basics in the field of electronics and the functions of electrical components. Use of circuit diagrams and operating instructions for individual purchased parts. Practical exercises in the relevant technical department.
Control UnitStructure of control units and individual components. Introduction to programming language and troubleshooting.
Drive technology
Functional principle of frequency converters and how to adjust them. Handling of control modules and working with the programming device. Brief overview of adjustment options and on-the-job training.
OperationBriefing on operation of the production line; settings; modification; input program and on-the-job training on the production line.
Troubleshooting and maintenance
The theory behind troubleshooting at EVG. Explanation of the range of error messages and their causes. General maintenance requirements.
WeldingThe basics of welding and welding current control units.
Preparing for installationGeneral information and preparation (tools, support staff, foundation drawing, connections, etc.). Procedures for installing and commissioning the line.
